Discover how to grow a beautiful, productive garden without chemicals. This talk explores soil health, composting, natural pest management and choosing resilient plants. You will learn practical techniques to create a thriving garden that benefits both people and the planet.
The day begins with coffee at 9:30am, followed by an engaging and practical talk starting at 10am. You’ll learn how to support birds, pollinators and other beneficial creatures through thoughtful planting, habitat creation and year-round care all while keeping your garden beautiful and functional for you.
Josh will share expert insights on designing and maintaining gardens that thrive in harmony with nature, whether you’re working with a small courtyard or a larger landscape. The session will include real-world examples, planting advice and a chance to ask questions specific to your own space.
A lunch will be provided and the day concludes with a glass of bubbly and a Q&A session. Attendees will also receive a 15% discount on all nursery products (excluding Sneeboer tools and already discounted items) to use on the day.
About Josh Taylor
Josh Taylor is an experienced horticulturist and former Head Gardener, trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh and Great Dixter. He specialises in organic, ecologically sensitive garden design and management combining artistry with practical expertise.
Josh has written for Blumenhaus Magazine, appeared on BBC Radio (including RHS Chelsea Flower Show) and is known for his engaging, accessible lectures that inspire gardeners to create thriving, wildlife-rich spaces.
